Sergey Kuchanov

Technical Director

Sergey Kuchanov’s scope of responsibilities covers the engineering parts of all projects of the company, namely, its quality, accuracy, and innovativeness. As a Technical Director, he makes proposals as to resolution of engineering problems and participates in implementation of approved solutions.

Sergey Kuchanov has started his professional life as engineer in the Special Design Bureau’s research and development department and in NPO Sibelektroterm’s laboratory of new technologies (1981-1992). Then, in 1992-2003, he was the Director of EITT innovative company that was involved in the research and development activities for Hilti and other companies. In 1999-2002, he was also the Deputy Director of Sibirskiy Elektroinstrument LLC, being responsible for the new impact power tools development project. In 2003-2014, Sergey Kuchanov held the position of the Technical Director of Engineering and Technical Center Elektrokomplektservis CJSC, being responsible for creation of the company’s philosophy as regards engineering. In 2014-2017, he headed the project of new products development for RusEnergoMir group of companies.

Sergey Kuchanov has vast expertise in management of research and development, design, engineering, and innovations in the fields of automation, dispatching and power resources accounting at new or pilot production facilities. In 1996-1997 he took part in establishment of the Novosibirsk Technology Park by the administration of the Novosibirsk Region.

Sergey Kuchanov graduated from the Electromechanical Faculty of the Novosibirsk State Technical University. In 1989-1991, he completed the part-time doctoral program in Tomsk Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Sciences (IFPM of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences) in Experimental Physics discipline.
