Water chemistry monitoring system completed for the boilers of the Ust-Ilimsk Pulp and Paper Mill

OOO COTES Engineering professionals completed a project for a water chemistry monitoring automation system for the boilers at the Ust-Ilimsk Pulp and Paper Mill, affiliated with the OAO Ilim Group. The implementation of the new system allows for automatic water and steam sampling from various elevations within power generation boilers, as well as real-time analysis and display of necessary parameters on control panels. The automation of the chemistry monitoring allows for a considerable reduction in human error and provides for online monitoring of all the critical parameters of the boilers. COTES Engineering engineers have performed their analysis, developed operating documentation which has been approved by an industrial safety expert review, and made cost estimates.
