A Positive Expert Opinion on Industrial Safety for the Cherepovetsk GRES Has Been Obtained

COTES has obtained a positive expert opinion on industrial safety for the technical refurbishment of the hazardous industrial facility “Main Building Site of the Cherepovetsk GRES”.
In September 2020, the company’s specialists began a technical refurbishment of a part of the process diagram for power unit No. 3 of the main building at the Cherepovetsk GRES. Its aim is to improve the heat content of the thermal unit at the main building in the boiler mode to fulfil the GRES needs. In addition to the development of detailed design, the COTES scope includes equipment and materials supply, construction and assembling works as well as startup works.
The turnkey work should be completed before the end of 2020.
