From the beginning of 2020 COTES Engineering has started providing the services on development and implementation of automatic pollutants discharge monitoring systems for the enterprises belonging to the category I in terms of negative environmental impact. The requirement for installation of such a system is regulated by the Federal Law No. 252 as of July 29, 2018. The first 300 enterprises shall obtain a complex ecological permit (CEP) from the Ministry of natural resources of Russia by 2022, and by 2025 for all of the rest of the category I enterprises. During 4 years after obtainment of CEP the enterprises shall install a system of automatic pollutants discharge monitoring.
Installation of the automatic pollutants discharge monitoring system and delivery of information on the discharge figures is one of the most important tools of the environmental monitoring and evaluation of the environment condition. By means of monitoring one could reveal and analyze the reasons for change of the discharge composition, and to make proposals on improvement of the treatment facilities and quality of the water discharged.
Experts of COTES Engineering jointly with its partners offer a full package of services from examination to design and installation of a set of sensors and analyzers that form the monitoring system. An automatic system proposed by COTES can be deployed in a separate container with heating and ventilation system, as well as fire and security alarm connected thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the RF legislation. Samples for measurement are taken into the container by means of a self-priming screw pump.
