COTES completed the development of design documentation for the conversion of bark boilers at the Ilim Group branch in Ust-Ilimsk to fluidized bed technology

The COTES Engineering team completed the design documentation, documents for passing industrial safety for the transfer to fluidized bed technology of bark boilers No. 4 and No. 5 KM-75-40 of the Ilim Group branch in Ust-Ilimsk.
Bark boilers are designed for burning bark and wood waste and generating steam. New boilers with fluidized bed technology will be installed in existing cells to replace the old ones. All main and auxiliary equipment and boiler foundations will be rebuilt.
The project team is currently finalizing the development of detailed design documentation. COTES Engineering specialists also will be present at the construction site within the framework of field supervision until the end of 2022.
