COTES will test ignition of organic fuels in NSTU

On February 5, the COTES management negotiated with the Department of Thermal Power Plants at the Novosibirsk State Technical University. COTES Engineering CEO, Dmitry Serant, and the head of the TPP department at NSTU, Sergey Elistratov, agreed on cooperation: the researchers and engineers will arrange a test bench up to 200 kW at the university. The fire test bench will be intended for the research of organic fuel ignition conditions, in particular, black oil free ignition system patented by COTES Engineering.
Both NSTU employees, in particular assistant professor of the TPP department, Ekaterina Boyko, and engineers from COTES Engineering, Denis Sinelnikov, Sergey Kuchanov, Dmitry Kochergin, will take part in the tests.
The first tests are planned for mid-2021.
