COTES Will Equip 3 Flue Stacks at RUSAL With Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems

The COTES Engineering team will design, supply, install, startup, and put into operation continuous emission monitoring systems for three wet gas purification stacks at the Bratsk Aluminum Plant (RUSAL). Continuous emission monitoring systems will be made in line with Federal Law No. 219-FZ On Environmental Protection.
FTIR-based gas analysis equipment GASMET (Finland) was chosen for supply. A specific feature of such systems is their capacity to measure hydrofluorides in low concentrations. Moreover, wet extractive dust analyzers and ultrasound flow meters are planned for use.
All works should be completed by the end of 2022.
