COTES Engineering Continues the Work for the Development of Construction, Design, Detailed Design and Estimate Documents for the Refurbishment of CHPP of the Affiliate Branch of AO “RIR” in Seversk
The COTES Engineering team, at the order of AO “Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions”, has completed the development of detailed design and estimate documentation for the technical refurbishment of turbine sets and the installation of two new turbines. Currently, the work is ongoing for the development of construction, detailed design and estimate documentation for the Stage 2 boiler units (Stages Nos. 10, 12, 14, 15) and basic design documentation for substage “Spage effectiveness”. Moreover, by the end of the year, the development of detailed design documentation of the startup complex ensuring putting the turbine sets into operation should be completed.
Let’s remind you that COTES Engineering is developing design and estimate as well as basic design and construction documentation for the refurbishment of CHPP of the affiliate branch of AO “Rusatom Infrastructural Solutions” in Seversk using an innovative digital information modelling technology (also known as BIM technology). In 2020, the development of basic design documentation for the refurbishment of 10 boiler units of the second stage of the plant was completed, a positive Rusatom’s opinion was obtained, and an industrial safety expert review was passed.
The Severskaya CHPP is one of the largest power facilities in the Tomsk Region located near the Siberian Chemical Plant. The CHPP was put into operation in stages in 1953-1961. It produces heat and electricity for the needs of the plant and a closed administrative and territorial formation (CATF) Seversk. The CHPP power is 449 MW, and heat power is 1,713.8 Gcal/hr.
