COTES in Research-To-Practice Conference by PJSC “Power Machines”

Chief Engineer Vitaly Kuchanov and Chief Manager of Turn-Key Projects Pavel Sterligov (COTES Engineering) took part in the research-to-practice conference held by PJSC “Power Machines” on November 27-28, 2019 in Saint Petersburg, for design institutes, power machine engineering and power generation companies. Heads and partners of “Power Machines” Company presented their speeches concerning the most relevant topics in the power industry, among of which are the implementation of the DPM-shtrikh Program (Capacity Delivery Agreement renewed), import phase-out, and new technologies in power machines engineering.
The conference attendees discussed the issues of combining the efforts of industrial and scientific community stakeholders, as well as the need for governmental subsidies for implementation of the turn-key power projects. Heads of PJSC “Power Machines” informed about the progress of implementing the high-capacity gas turbines production plans. They are working on the competences for production and release of new cost-efficient equipment with improved technical and environmental characteristics.
Vitaly Kuchanov actively participated in talks and discussed the possible collaboration in prospective projects of COTES Engineering and PJSC “Power Machines”. He noted a good organization of the event and the importance of the issues raised: “All of the conference events were remarkable and interesting, I really enjoyed it. Generally, I see positive changes and active transformation of one of the turbine engineering leaders in Russia,which is good”.
