COTES at the XXI International Ecological Congress “Atmosphere – 2019”

COTES Engineering took part in the XXI International Ecological Congress “Atmosphere – 2019” held from April 25 – 26 in Saint Petersburg. Heads and engineers of the environmental departments of major enterprises, scientific experts, representatives of the Ministry of Nature of the Russian Federation, Rosprirodnazor, Rospotrebnadzor, as well as the Russian hydrometeorological center, gathered to discuss current issues in the ecological protection of the atmosphere. The congress’s participants discussed amendments adopted in legislation, ecological standards, the progress of the “Environment and Implementation of the Available State-of-the-Art Technologies” project.
Eurotechlab, a partner company of COTES Engineering, presented a report on the most relevant subjects such as equipping facilities with automatic emission monitoring systems. Aleksei Kolegov, deputy CEO of COTES Engineering, answered the questions pitched by business representatives about the design and installation of similar systems. He talked about the implementation experience in Russian facilities.
The congress was ended by an excursion to an automatic pollutant emissions monitoring systems manufacturing site in Saint Petersburg, where environmental experts viewed an ideally calibrated gas analyzing complex, which will be used for verification of the monitoring systems installed in the facilities.
