COTES Engineering repairs an aerial cableway on Zelenaya Mountain in Sheregesh

COTES Engineering professionals performed reverse engineering for a SKYWAY suspended passenger aerial cableway at the Sheregesh Alpine Resort (MALCA complex).
At the beginning of 2017, a fire totally destroyed the top terminal of the cable way, along with the control system which included electrics and distributed control system based on SIEMENS hardware. COTES Engineering professionals created a design for replacing the main cableway drive with a domestic one, and interfaced that new main drive with upgraded DCS on the basis of the recovered SIEMENS controls. COTES Engineering programmers developed and implemented tailor-made software for the cableway control. The upgraded system provides totally safe and reliable control of the aerial cableway cars and operates the of the emergency control systems.
Since March, 2018 the cable way has been successfully started and has resumed operation.
