State-of-the-art solutions for efficiency and ecodesign of coal TPPs
One of the most important issues for the global society today is the transition to the sustainable energy future. It arises a number of points, chiefly: environmental friendliness, safety and availability of all types of power resources. This is an objective fact: there have been built and are constantly in operation more than 2000 coal thermal power plants on earth.
What do we need to do to make the existing and planned coal generation as environmentally friendly and effective as possible? What is needed to provide renewal of the existing number of coal TPPs based on HELE (high-efficiency, low emissions) principles ensuring the access to energy for people and industry? We have discussed all these issues and answered questions during the online ZOOM conference on November 11, 2021.
