On October 7, within the 25th COTES Open Lectures, Anna Khryashcheva, Regional Director for Strategy and Business Development at Sumitomo FW (Finland), made a report. She told about the Sumitomo FW’s technology for waste incineration, CFB technology for burning RDF. In particular, Anna told about the experience of introducing the CFB technology to produce 30 MW electric power using local fuel obtained from the sorted household and industrial wastes at E.ON Varme Sverige CHPP in Sweden. Then, Anna told us about WOIMA modular plants providing an efficient solution to control wastes, which are easily and quickly delivered and installed where necessary, and showed some example configurations. At the end, those who wish could ask questions to Anna.
