Innovative system for oil-free electrode-ionized ignition of coal-dust boilers
Speaking at COTES’ Open Lectures on April 16, Dmitry Kochergin has introduced the development of a new, oil-free method and device for ignition of coal-dust boilers. The speaker analyzed various options for oil-free ignition, particularly plasma ignition technology, which has been widely adopted in China. Afterwards, he gave a detailed account of the improvements proposed by COTES and the tests of a new technology of ionized oil-free ignition at the 5MW firing testing stand for ignition of low-reaction coals.
